The Best Recipe for Caesar Salad Dressing

Perhaps you will agree that the following recipe is the best Caesar salad dressing recipe. It is very close to the original recipe for Caesar salad dressing, in that it features olive oil, garlic and lemon juice, but the minced anchovy filets replace the Worcestershire sauce and the mustard and balsamic vinegar gives it a sweet piquancy that really makes the mouth water.

This is a perfectly balanced Caesar salad dressing and it is very easy to make because you just need to combine the ingredients. As with other Caesar salad dressings, it is important to keep whisking the dressing while you add the olive oil. The ingredients need to mix together and become smooth. The friction from the whisking will “cook” the egg yolks. There is nothing difficult about making the best Caesar salad dressing recipe, although it might be different from other salad dressings you have made in the past.

To serve this, tear some romaine and prepare some croutons, either plain ones or herb ones. You might like to cube ciabatta bread, toss it in oil with salt and black pepper, and bake that in the oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Then you can add your Caesar salad dressing to the salad, and perhaps some protein such as salmon, shrimp or chicken. Caesar salad makes a great appetizer in small portions or entrée in larger ones, and the flavor is so distinctive and great.
